LT SERIES Progressing Cavity Hopper Pumps
The LT SERIES progressing cavity hopper pumps are particularly suitable for pumping high viscosity non-flowing products with or without suspended solids, even abrasive ones. By minimising aeration and agitation of fluids, they ensure the gentle product conveyance without altering their organoleptic characteristics.
Wear parts can be easily replaced on site.
The LT SERIES progressing cavity hopper pumps have a hopper design that allows easy product entry into the pump.
Process connections can use different international standards (EN, DIN, ANSI, GAS and others), or they can have a special design.
The LT SERIES progressing cavity hopper pumps can also be supplied in different types of materials (e.g. CAST IRON, STAINLESS STEEL and others) depending on application contexts.
The LT SERIES progressing cavity hopper pumps achieve flow rates up to 180 m³/h and pressures up to 24 bar.
They can also be supplied in a CUSTOM T Series progressing cavity hopper pumps version, i.e. with independent bearing support, providing flow rates up to 260 m3/h and pressures up to 40 bar.
Working pressure up to 40 bar
Minimal on-site maintenance
Gravity loading
Continuous flow and minimal turbulence
Low rotational speed
Customised executions according to request
The rotor is available in many materials depending on the application: carbon steel with thick chrome plating, AISI 304 (1.4301) stainless steel, AISI 316 (1.4401) stainless steel and others on request. In addition, ‘standard pitch’ or ‘long pitch’ geometry is possible.
The stator is made of vulcanised rubber inside a steel tube, with integral seals on both sides in a variety elastomer (NBR, HNBR, EDPM, FPM and more on request). It is possible to have the stator inlet with hopper-shaped opening for improved feed of the product into the pumping part.
The coupling shaft with pre-feeding screw can be manufactured with different types of joints to suit various applications.
The pump housing is made with a rectangular/square hopper.
Different types of process connections are available according to international standards (EN, DIN, ANSI, GAS and others) or in special designs. Different types of materials (e.g. CAST IRON, STAINLESS STEEL and others) are possible depending on application contexts.
There are various types of seals:
The drive is directly flanged to the pump support lantern, resulting in compact dimensions, low total weight, easy maintenance and economic advantages.
The T SERIES progressive cavity pumps execution, equipped with an independent bearing support, allows coupling with any type of drive via a flexible coupling.
