V SERIES Progressing Cavity Pumps
The V SERIES progressing cavity pumps are semi-submersible pumps; therefore, the pump can be partially submerged in the product, and are suitable for transferring high viscous products.
By minimising aeration and agitation of fluids, they ensure gentle product conveyance without altering their organoleptic characteristics.
Wear parts can be easily replaced on site.
The V SERIES progressing cavity pumps are suitable for applications where there is a high risk of cavitation, or where NPSHa values are very low. Pumps equipped with a crane lifting bracket are used to empty tanks or cisterns; they are not affected by the presence of sand in the product and have high pressure stability.
The V SERIES progressing cavity pumps are versatile, accommodating various process connections as per global standards like EN, DIN, ANSI, GAS, among others, or they can be custom-designed.
They can also be supplied in different types of materials (e.g. CAST IRON, STAINLESS STEEL and others) depending on application contexts.
The V SERIES progressing cavity pumps achieve flow rates up to 180 m³/h and pressures up to 12 bar.
Space-Saving Monoblock Construction
Minimal on-site maintenance
No cavitation
Continuous flow and minimal turbulence
Low rotational speed
Customised executions according to request
The rotor is available in many materials depending on the application: carbon steel with thick chrome plating, AISI 304 (1.4301) stainless steel, AISI 316 (1.4401) stainless steel and others on request. In addition, ‘standard pitch’ or ‘long pitch’ geometry is possible.
The stator is made of vulcanised rubber inside a steel tube, with integral seals on both sides in a variety elastomer (NBR, HNBR, EDPM, FPM and more on request). It is possible to have the stator inlet with hopper-shaped opening for improved feed of the product into the pumping part.
Different types of joints and transmissions are available to suit a variety of applications:
Different types of process connections are available according to international standards (EN, DIN, ANSI, GAS and others) or in special designs. Different types of materials (e.g. CAST IRON, STAINLESS STEEL and others) are possible depending on application contexts.
There are various types of seals:
The drive is directly flanged to the pump support lantern, resulting in compact dimensions, low total weight, easy maintenance and economic advantages.
